The name Bournemouth comes either from the word ‘bourne’ meaning ‘streamlet’, or from an old English word ‘brook’ – stream. Along the stream a town has emerged, which in the recent years has developed and grown a lot, placing particular focus on investing in the future of the nation, i.e. in the Bournemouth University, and AFC Bournemouth (known as the ‘Cherries’), which has been in the Premier League since 2015 and is the pride of the local people. Most and foremost however, tourists visit Bournemouth because of its beautiful beaches. During our trip you will be able to see Bournemouth’s key attractions.
